  • 10-04-2010

After supplying LED display system to 2008 Beijing Olympic Games including Bird’s Nest (National Stadium), Volleyball court and other venues, QSTECH has successfully handed over LED display systems to another great event – the Commonwealth Games.

The Commonwealth Games is a multinational, multi-sport event which features competitions involving thousands of elite athletes from members of the Commonwealth of Nations. Organized every four years, they are the third-largest multi-sport event in the world, after the Summer Olympic Games and the Asian Games.

This year in 2010, the latest edition of Commonwealth Games will be held in New Delhi, India. Although the Chinese delegation can’t be involved in the event, QSTECH LED display representing China has already got an upper hand in the great sport event.

Four LED display systems were successfully delivered to the Commonwealth Games Gymnastic stadium and Wrestling stadium by QSTECH. In the Gymnastic stadium, 2 displays of 320x176 pixels in 20mm were installed to display scoring information and provide event live broadcast to the audiences. While in the Wrestling stadium, 2 displays of 256x144 pixels in 20mm were installed for the same.

Now the display systems were already tested by Senior Asian Wrestling Championship which was a Commonwealth Games test match held during May 12th to 16th, 2010. The organizing committee is very happy with the system and service provided by QSTECH.

In the end, let’s wish 2010 Commonwealth Games a great success and hope the event will be even more colorful with QSTECH LED display systems!
